Espen Strøm,
Investment Director – Energy Ventures

Espen Strøm has 11 years of industry experience. Mr. Strøm has extensive experience from investing and being a director in growth companies within the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Energy Ventures in 2008, he worked as a financial analyst with ExxonMobil Norway. He received his MSc in Finance from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA/AFA) from NHH.

Richard Williams,
Venture Executive – Chevron Technology Ventures

Richard has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and technology industries. He has held a variety of positions in corporate development, corporate venture capital, and new technology development and commercialization. Williams also served as a finance manager in several corporate and operational assignments, receiving multiple awards for his achievements. He joined Chevron Technology Ventures in 2015.

Williams earned a B.A. in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. with concentrations in International Business and Finance from the University of Chicago. Richard became a CFA charterholder in 2000.
