At Hicor, we are passionate about finding technology solutions to help enable a natural gas economy. Our breakthrough technology enables wet gas compression while also decreasing the cost and energy required to compress and produce natural gas.
In 2010, we were founded out of MIT as OsComp Systems, Inc. In 2011, we secured Energy Ventures and Chevron Technology Ventures as investors and partners in our mission. During 2013, the Company spun off its virtual pipeline business and rebranded in 2014 as Hicor Technologies.
Our management team boasts extensive experience in engineering, technology development, oilfield and manufacturing operations, and innovation. We lead the industry as one of the only companies in North America to have made major advancements in gas compression technology in the past 50 years.
We operate a world-class facility with generous lab space where we develop our technology, grow our ideas, and build and test our compressors. Our headquarters and test facilities are located in the World Houston International Business Center, within a half-mile of Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), offering direct access to Beltway 8 and within five minutes of I-45, Hwy 59 and the Hardy Toll Road.
